Your video stays yours.

VideoFrames does not upload your selected video or extracted images to a server. Processing uses your browser’s video decoder and Canvas.

Temporary local media

Videos are opened with temporary object URLs. Extracted images are kept in the current page’s memory until you remove them, replace the video or close the page. Downloads are saved to the location chosen by your browser.

Website requests

Your browser requests the website’s HTML, JavaScript, styles and locally hosted fonts. The hosting provider may receive ordinary request information, such as IP address and user agent, in its operational logs. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand website traffic. Your browser requests its analytics script from analytics.ahrefs.com. Video, audio, image and subtitle files are processed locally and are not sent to Ahrefs by our tools. This release does not include advertising or an account system.

Messages you send

If you contact us by email, your email provider and ours handle the message. We use its contents to respond to your request. Do not send private videos or other sensitive material.
